Scoring & eliminations
التسجيل والخروجHow arrows are scored and how matches are won.
Scoring
The X ring counts as 10 with X tiebreaker. Rings score 10 to 1 from the center outward. An arrow touching a higher-scoring line takes the higher value. Miss = 0.
Recurve set system
Best of 5 sets. Each set: 3 arrows in 2 minutes. Set win = 2 points, tie = 1 each. First to 6 set points wins. 5–5 tie: single arrow shoot-off, closest to center.
Compound cumulative
Best of 5 ends of 3 arrows. Highest total score wins. On a tie, a single-arrow shoot-off decides — closest to center takes the match.
Categories
Cadet (U15), Junior (U18/21), Senior (21+), Master (50+) and Para (classified). Each category shoots its own distances and target faces.
Safety & officials
السلامة والحكامWhistle commands, judges and what to do when things go wrong.
Whistle signals
Two blasts — archers approach the line. One blast — begin shooting. Three blasts — collect arrows. Five or more blasts — EMERGENCY, stop all activity immediately.
Officials
The Director of Shooting (DOS) controls the competition. Judges resolve scoring disputes and their decision on arrow value is final. 15 minutes of equipment repair time is allowed.
